BORN INTO IT

music wasn’t some wild discovery. it was just always around. my whole family’s been in and around music for as long as i can remember. different styles, different lanes, but it was always playing, always part of the environment. instruments in the house, shows in the city, conversations that always came back to sound. it wasn’t forced on me. it just made sense.

first love… drums

before i ever touched a mic or opened a daw, i was messing around on drums. loud, messy, chaotic. but it felt right. later came guitar, then recording, then producing. i’ve always cared about how things feel more than how clean or perfect they are. even now, everything starts with feel.

discovery

grew up in atlanta, where rap’s part of the air. but i never saw myself in just one genre. i’ve always been into the mix of things. melodic rap, sure, but also rock, pop, indie, and anything that sounds raw and real. artists like the kid laroi, post malone, and iann dior hit early, but so did guitar-based stuff and ambient records. i’m drawn to whatever sounds like honesty.

beginnings

i started recording at 18. no fancy setup, no real plan. just trying to get what was in my head out into something i could press play on. it wasn’t great, but it meant something. and that was enough to keep going.

doing more than one thing

over time, it wasn’t just about making my own music. i got into mixing, producing, and helping other artists shape their sound. started out of necessity. i wanted my stuff to sound right. now it’s just part of what i do. whether i’m working on my own songs or mixing for someone else, the goal’s the same: keep it honest, keep it feeling like you.

where i’m at now

i split time between atlanta and la, bouncing between the home setup and pro studios. working on my own music, mixing for other people, and slowly building the world around what i do. not rushing it. just letting it unfold how it’s supposed to.

what matters

i care about music that lasts. stuff that sounds like the person who made it. not trying to follow a formula or chase a wave. if it feels honest and it hits, that’s a win.

looking ahead

no big rollout or perfect plan. just staying focused, getting better, and letting things grow naturally. more music, more collaborations, more time in rooms that push me. wherever it goes, the goal’s the same — keep it real, and keep it moving.
